About the product

Antique Indian Hand Carved and Painted Rajasthani Columns - Circa 1890. An exciting pair of hand-carved teak wood columns from Rajasthan, India. These late 19th-century pillars have attractive form, wood tone, and patina.

Originally part of a wall carving, these antique columns are handmade, and hand-painted with intricate carvings of Rajasthani women at the base. Made from wood, they depict the women's faces, their traditional Rajasthani dress, and the jewellery that they are wearing.

They are decorative standalone pieces of art & history but could also be upcycled to be the base of a table lamp or a side table.
